Install the snippet, verify your first pageview, and read your first report.

Install the tracking snippet

Add the snippet to every page you want to measure, just before the closing body tag.

  1. Copy your pixel key from the website settings.
  2. Paste the snippet into your layout template.
  3. Reload any page and check the realtime view.

Data usually appears within a few seconds.

Verify it is working

Open the realtime report and browse your own site in another tab. If nothing arrives, check that an ad blocker is not filtering the request.

Pageviews are counted once per navigation, so a single-page app needs the manual pageview call.
